Virtual Fundraiser for TX Campaign
stiph productions produced a virtual fundraiser for The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, a statewide nonpartisan organization that aims to reduce teen pregnancy through research, advocacy, collaboration and training. The Texas Campaign was seeking a knowledgeable and innovative technical expert to produce their annual fundraiser, Cheers!. Due to COVID-19, they reimagined their 250 person gala to deliver it virtually, and needed a producer to create a virtual experience that felt more like a fun party than a meeting or an overly long commercial.
The 90-minute program featured an emcee, a “celebrity bartender,” prerecorded videos, the Symposium awards and acceptance speeches from winner, and live remarks from the Executive Director. stiph productions provided guidance and technical support, directed and produced videos of remote presenters, and operated the entire event. In addition to being a one-person shop for all the production elements, stiph productions consulted on the appropriate streaming platform to use and where the viewers watched the event. After testing a variety of options out, the virtual fundraiser was streamed onto the client’s website, which made it easy for viewers to find out more information and donate.
The client exceeded their fundraising goals, and the event was a huge success.
